In Exodus Chapter 14, we find the nation of Israel trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army.  From their perspective, all hope is lost.  From God’s perspective, hope is about to be revealed. Throughout Scripture, God is repeatedly referred to as “the God who led you out of Egypt” as a remembrance of who he is, what he has done, and what he remains capable of doing.
